Funky 70’s Lamps

I came across these lamps at Goodwill a few weeks back and snapped them up  with visions of repainting them and bringing them back from the 70’s. Electric yellow with silver taped accents? Yikes! But I could see the shape of these would make something great.

However, before I could dig into these – and honestly they sat on the table for a very long time – we had another neighbor come by with a friend. They wanted to show off our living room and our unexpected guest took one look at these lamps and said she had to have them. I almost choked and asked “really???” – She was adamant and wanted them just as is – apparently they will be a feature piece in a guest room. So we arranged for delivery the next day and now these funky lamps have a new home. Who would have guessed?
