Cool Curvy Bean Desk

She’s cute, she’s curvy and she’s been sold. Sorry folks, this desk never even made it to our available to be refinished page before she was claimed.

Made of burl wood – this was a hard one to paint – but we had to! The top of the desk was badly damaged with some seriously deep gouges – so I repaired those and cleaned up the lock on the front drawer. Then the entire desk was prepped and coated with Annie Sloan Old white. We then distressed and waxed – taking care to hit the detail area with extra care and dark wax to highlight the intricacies of the work. The client wanted to add her own hardware – so we left those off.
